About Me

I am Alceu Costa, a PhD student in Computer Science at the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science (ICMC) at the University of São Paulo (USP) in Brazil. Currently (September 2013 to September 2014), I am also a visiting scholar at the Computer Science department at Carnegie Mellon University.

My research interests include:

• Image processing and computer vision
• Data mining (KDD)
• Social media services
• Medical imaging (computer aided diagnosis)

I also like to take photos on my free time.
